Weed is an independent field guide to cannabis dispensaries and medical pharmacies around the world.

The first edition

This collection contains 137 listings across 7 countries, reviewed on October 30, 2026. It is a starting collection, not an exhaustive worldwide census. United States coverage is selected New York stores; Canadian coverage is selected Manitoba stores. Uruguay includes the 64 pharmacy rows shown by IRCCA during review. Other countries currently have the medical services listed below.

What “legal” means here

For regulator-sourced entries, a public authority included the location in its licensed or participating retail roster when checked. Operator-sourced entries document a medical pharmacy or dispensary service on its own website; independent current licence revalidation is pending and stated on each page. United States stores operate under state rules; state authorization is not federal legality. Medical, age, residency and registration requirements are never interchangeable.

We do not include an unlicensed shop simply because it advertises cannabis. We also do not treat cannabis associations, research trials, decriminalization or personal possession rules as permission for general retail sales.

What we check, and what we don’t

Each listing records its published name, location, source, review date and access category. We do not invent ratings, opening hours, precise coordinates, stock, prices or endorsements. A review date is not a guarantee that a licence remains active. Check the linked authority or pharmacy before visiting.

The map highlights countries represented in this collection, not the legal status of every country. Markers are country references and do not show individual shop locations. Countries absent from the collection may have legal medical or retail programs that we have not researched yet.
